"...'firm like a mountain, supple like a tree in the wind'...these words from Lao-Tzu (Tao Te Ching) echoes Ryan's effortlessness to connect yogic and martial arts. I believe Budokon directly helps to purify the mind, awaken the spirit and strengthen the physical being. After just one class, Ryan's energy instantly touched my soul and left me feeling uplifted for days."

Being a participant of Sensei Ryan’s class is debtless one of the best experiences one can put both body and mind through, and still get one hell of a workout…
I’ve spent several years of my life as a personal trainer and I can spot a good instructor when I see one. Ryan is amongst the rare ones who leave you with the sensation of being part of a spiritual universal connection through physical movement and meditation. His many years as a student of martial arts seems to have given him a calm Zen approach to his instruction methods, yet he speaks with an authority that is more guiding that lecturing.
Ryan’s physical practice is flawless and he has taught me so many things just by being able to watch him and (try to) copy. But more importantly, his teaching makes workouts fun and playful.
There have been times where the energy of the class has been so high that I have felt stronger and happier then ever, and still calm like if meditating.
I will strongly recommend anyone to try a session with Sensei Ryan Carldon-Miah.
Sincerely
